Who runs this site
This website (syeddanish.in) is a personal site operated by Syed Danish Arafat, an individual based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It publishes written guides, a portfolio of finance and analytics work, and a set of free tools. There is no company behind it and nothing is sold here.
For any privacy question, correction or deletion request, write to syeddanish2707@gmail.com. Requests are answered by email, normally within a few days.
What the free tools do with your files and text
The tools are designed so that as little as possible leaves your device, and so that nothing is kept longer than the moment it takes to return a result.
- PDF merging, page reordering, rotation and deletion run entirely in your browser. Those files are never uploaded.
- The resume builder holds your details in the browser while you work and generates the PDF or Word file locally. Closing the tab discards them.
- Features that need a model — background replacement, image cleanup, resume scoring and text rewriting — send only the content you submitted to a processing provider for that single request, and the result is returned to you. The submitted content is not used to build a profile of you and is not published.
- Do not upload identity documents, payslips or anything confidential to any online tool, including this one, unless you accept that risk.
Accounts
You can use the tools without an account, subject to a daily free-use limit. If you choose to create an account, an email address (or a phone number, if you sign up that way) and an authentication record are stored so you can sign back in. Signing in with Google or Apple shares only the basic profile details those providers return.
Account data is held with a managed hosting and authentication provider on the operator's behalf. You can ask for your account and its data to be deleted at any time by emailing the address above.
Usage limits and device recognition
To keep the tools free and available, anonymous use is capped at a small number of runs per device per day. Enforcing that requires recognising a returning device, so a coarse technical fingerprint (browser and device characteristics), a locally stored identifier and a truncated network address are recorded with a per-day counter.
This is used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention. It is not used for advertising and is not sold or shared.
Analytics
With your consent, aggregate analytics record which pages and tools are used, so that effort goes into the parts people actually value. Reports are read in aggregate; the intention is not to identify individuals.
If you decline analytics in the consent banner, analytics storage stays denied.
Advertising and cookies
Written pages and tool pages may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Portfolio pages carry no advertising.
Google and its partners may set or read cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Where consent is required, ads and ad personalisation stay denied until you allow them in the consent banner, which uses Google Consent Mode. You can reopen that banner at any time from the "Cookie & ad settings" link in the footer and change or withdraw your choice.
You can also review and limit ad personalisation directly in your Google account settings, and control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the tools from working.
- Essential: consent choice, session and sign-in state, daily usage counter.
- Analytics (consent-based): aggregate page and tool usage.
- Advertising (consent-based): ad delivery, frequency capping and measurement by Google AdSense and its partners.
Forms you choose to fill in
If you submit the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are stored so the enquiry can be answered, and a confirmation email may be sent to the address you gave. Nothing submitted through a form is used for marketing lists.
Retention and your rights
Contact messages are kept while the conversation is relevant and then deleted. Account records are kept until you ask for deletion. Aggregate analytics are retained by the analytics provider under its own retention settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email the address above and those requests will be honoured.
Children
The site is not directed at children and no accounts should be created by anyone under the age required in their country to consent to online services.
